Because a new ENERGYSTAR specification is scheduled to be released in early 2013, further development of this measure was stopped until EPA releases the final ENERGYSTAR specifications. March 01, 2011	Measure deactivation The RTF voted to change the status of the Residential Multifamily Low-Rise New Construction measure from "deemed" to "deactivated". Implementers interested in new multifamily construction could look to Energy Star programs for a more up-to-date measure. March 01, 2011	Direction for further analysis The RTF recommends RTF staff hire a contractor to package the work completed by NBI, Cadmus, and BPA on the Roof Top Unit Protocol into a Standard Protocol compliant with the RTF Guidelines for review and decision by the RTF at a future meeting. The RTF expects to review a Standard Protocol proposal within the next few months. Implementers interested in running a commercial rooftop unit efficiency program should engage their technical and program staff in the RTF review process to ensure the final RTF work product will meet their needs.
