Weatherization Subcommittee 2:00 PM-3:30 PM
Summary

This subcommittee focuses on the development and improvement of the RTF weatherization UES measures.  Below is information concerning specific weatherization topics that have been discussed or are pending:

Single Family Gas HVAC Weatherization

Background and Discussion Scope: This discussion began in the October 2022 RTF meeting (insert link).  The goal of this work is to provide the RTF with guidance on:

1. Determining the representation of Energy Trust of Oregon's (ETO) gas HVAC weatherization evaluations for other (non-ETO) regional gas HVAC SF home weatherization programs.

2. Determining what mix of RTF UES measures the ETO 2022 Recurve evaluation represents

3. How to account for measure interaction in ETO's 2022 Recurve evaluation of weatherization measures

The reason guidance is needed is that the ETO 2022 evaluation results were significantly different (higher) than the previous ETO evaluations for weatherization in gas HVAC single family homes.  This discrepancy does provide the consistency necessary for a measure to maintain a status of  "Proven" and requires the development of a plan to resolve these differences.
