Summary

The Small/Rural Subcommittee maintains a dedicated function within the RTF to support the specific needs of small and rural utilities. The subcommittee generally meets quarterly, although may meet more frequently as the work requires.

The major work areas include:

  • Identify new efficiency measures that are applicable for small and rural utilities
  • Assess all measures approved by the RTF for applicability to small and rural utilities
  • Assist the RTF in facilitating an integrated approach to bring new measures and suggest potential revisions to existing measures to the RTF, in support of small and rural utilities
