Decision Details

Adopt the SBW recommendations for Commercial Heating and Cooling - Rooftop Unit Supply Fan VFD's and change the status to Out of Compliance with a sunset date of January 23, 2014.

RTF staff will work with stakeholders to develop a plan to bring the measure back into compliance with the Guidelines based on the recommendation memo and seek RTF approval of that plan by the sunset date.

Direction for further analysis

Decision Details

The RTF recommends RTF staff hire a contractor to package the work completed by NBI, Cadmus, and BPA on the Roof Top Unit Protocol into a Standard Protocol compliant with the RTF Guidelines for review and decision by the RTF at a future meeting.

The RTF expects to review a Standard Protocol proposal within the next few months. Implementers interested in running a commercial rooftop unit efficiency program should engage their technical and program staff in the RTF review process to ensure the final RTF work product will meet their needs.
