Door Gasket Replacement

At a Glance

Category
none
Status
deactivated
Sector
commercial
Applications
grocery

This measure replaces an existing worn refrigerator gasket with new gasket. Savings occurs due to a reduced run-time on the refrigeration system.  It also prompts load reduction on a store's HVAC heating system, assuming grocery stores heat most of the year.  One large area of uncertainty in the analysis is door open times, as this has the potential to change savings significantly and there is very little data to inform a reliable assumption here.
