Council Approves 2019 Work Plan and Business Plan

  • October 12, 2018

On October 10th, 2018 the Northwest Power and Conservation Council voted unanimously to approve a new Work Plan and Business Plan for the coming year. Every year the RTF develops its Work Plan through a stakeholder involved process that draws on public comment and input from organizations involved regularly in the work of the RTF, as well as the RTF's voting membership and Policy Advisory Committee (PAC). This new Work Plan and Business Plan will help guide the work of the RTF in 2019, and provides an outline of the tasks the RTF will take on throughout the year.

This iteration of the Work Plan was presented to the RTF at its July meeting, at which time a public comment period was opened. After the comment period, a final iteration of the Work Plan was presented to the RTF and PAC at their respective September meetings. Both bodies voted to recommend the 2019 Work Plan and Business Plan to the Council for approval. The final Work Plan is now available on the RTF website at the link below. Additionally, the presentation offered to the Council by RTF Chair/Manager Jennifer Light at its October meeting has been provided as well.
