Summary

This technical subcommittee supported the development of a new Provisional UES measure for residential clothes dryers, helping to determine the methodology for analyzing clothes dryer savings, costs, and lifetimes. It also worked through the measure interaction between clothes washer and dryers, working to update the clothes washer methodology accordingly.

As of May 2018 the RTF maintains active, proven measures for dryers, based on regional research efforts. For more information, visit the measure page here:
