Display cases can be found in most grocery stores, and in some restaurants and grab-and-go cafes. They keep food and beverages well lit and chilled while awaiting purchase. This measure covers the energy savings achieved from medium and low temperature display cases where light bulbs in the case are retrofitted with LED alternatives, or where lamps are removed. Also, this measure workbook includes energy savings estimates from the installation of motion sensors on display case lighting systems to decrease lighting run time, and thereby, energy use. Combined measure workbook for both LEDs and motion sensors, in both reach-in cases and open cases. All motion sensor measure applications are considered small saver. All LED measure applications are considered proven.
