Pool Pumps Subcommittee Meeting: June 1, 2017 1:00 PM-3:00 PM
Summary

This RTF subcommittee addresses a broad range of topics related to pumps and pump systems. The subcommittee was originally created to develop an efficient pump UES measure for “general pumps” based on the Extended Motor Products Labeling Initiative (EMPLI) and DOE’s Pump Energy Index (PEI) rating. The RTF adopted that measure in December of 2016.

In March of 2017, the subcommittee assisted in the development of an additional UES measure for efficient circulator pumps and controls, which was adopted by the RTF in March of 2017.

At the December 2017 RTF Meeting the RTF approved updates to a new measure for Efficient Pool Pumps. More information is available on the measure page linked below.
