Summary

The Council contracted with consulting firm Strategic Energy Group (SEG) to collect, organize and make available detailed industrial energy audit data from the Industrial Assessment Center (IAC) at Oregon State University. The data were collected over a 20-year period and cover small and medium sized industrial facilities primarily in Oregon, Washington and Idaho. SEG worked with the IAC to review the data, and assign consistent Standard Industrial Classification codes and end uses for all the motors. The Northwest Industrial Motor Database includes a total of 22,514 records, each with detailed motor application data. Over forty-six thousand number motors represented. There are 31 data fields.
