Decision Details

Accept the research strategy for the Commercial Smart Plug Power Strips UES measure, and approve the measure with Planning Category, Active status, savings to 118 KWh/year and Sunset date to March 2018.

This measure should be included in periodic R&E check-ins. These check-ins should assess whether the measure is being promoted and whether it is gaining tractition (uptake). This assessment should inform the measure's priority in future research plans.

Decision Details

The RTF provisionally deemed the smart plug power strips measure at 100 kWh for both residential and commercial sectors, with the provison that these provisional savings expire in a year, at which time preliminary results will be provided to the RTF. In addition, the measure will have an associated installation and application specification.
