This UES measure entails the installation of efficient non-residential lights in cases where a utility program is looking to claim savings for a midstream program. Midstream programs are those where the customer rebate is offered at the point of sale (retail) through distributors. Non-residential midstream programs generally target small businesses. Through a midstream program, a utility may incentivize a wide range of products, including screw-in LEDs, directions LEDs, recessed lighting retrofit kits, TLEDS, and exterior lighting, such as LED wall packs. Through most midstream programs, specific information on the location where the measure will be installed is not collected, therefore, the measure analysis must account for a range of use-cases and install locations to determine potential savings.
