Description

OK, so this is clearly a little morbid, but we have the opportunity to be a leader in the field! Basic research says human cremation uses around 25 therms, while also being environmentally problematic. There seem to be other options that are less energy intensive and also cause less environmental degradation. Currently the main option seems to be aquamation, basically using alkaline hydrolysis to get rid of the not bone. Composting is an option is Seattle. https://www.funeralwise.com/cremation/green-cremation/ A long article that has some useful links, maybe: https://scholars.law.unlv.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1845&context=nlj
