Tool adoption

Decision Details

Approve a Northwest version of REM/Rate as a performance based compliance tool for the NW ENERGY STAR homes program. Trade-offs for slab insulation and infiltration are not allowed, and the heating system HSPF must lie between 8.0 and 9.0.

Proposer plans to return with subsequent analysis showing compliance for other trade-off options

Direction for SEEM calibration

Decision Details

Approve SEEM 94 as calibrated for single family houses (using model A in today's presentation). The validity of the calibration should be reviewed by May 31, 2016 with any new data that become available.
