Anti-sweat heaters (ASH) avoid condensate formation (sweat) on display case doors by maintaining the temperature of the external surface of the case door above the store’s dew point. In the absence of Anti-Sweat Heater Controls (ASHC), ASH typically run all the time (8760 hours per year). ASHC modulate ASH working to the necessary amount, thus reducing run time and savings energy.

During it's latest update, the RTF set the measure to under review, and directed staff to look into more available data before determining the status of the measure.
