Category(none)
Measures without a Category have not been approved by the RTF, but they are listed here because they have been considered by the RTF.

StatusDeactivated
If the sunset criteria are met, and the new or revised UES estimates have not been approved, the RTF will deactivate the measure. This means that the UES estimates are no longer approved by the RTF. The RTF may decide to deactivate a measure before the sunset criteria is satisfied based on unanticipated factors, such as the adoption of new energy codes or the release of study results with findings that invalidate the UES values or the procedures for estimating those values.

Recommendation memos

12/2/2010 This measure category should be phased out as Premium Efficiency motors will become the federal standard beginning January 2011. The measure category should be de-activated as soon as the regional supply of standard efficiency motors has been depleted. The RTF should develop a method for determining the status of these stocks. A revised measure category could be developed. This could allow for Premium Efficiency Motors with capacity greater than 200hp. Data is available to establish reliable UES estimates for these large motors. The category might also include Super or Ultra Premium motors once these standards have been established. The RTF should explore whether these standards define a cost-effective measure before committing to the collection of the data required to develop reliable deemed savings.
