Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance benefits The long run goal of the Northwest Energy
Efficiency Alliance is to encourage transformation in the marketplace,
leading to the adoption and use of energy efficient equipment and
practices. While immediate energy savings are not its main goal, its
projects do result in savings in the short run. The Alliance estimated
these savings for 2000 and 2001 and allocated shares to the largest
utilities, based primarily on their retail loads. The Alliance did not allocate a specific share to this utility; this utility's share is included in the "Total energy savings achievements allocated to Bonneville's other customers" on the summary page of this report.
